Did Cesar Melhem sell out workers for $25,000 payment to union?

If evidence given to the Trade Unions Royal Commission is true, AWU official turned Labor MP Cesar Melhem sold out workers and their penalty rate entitlements to the tune of $2 million a year in exchange for $25,000 a year into union funds and a list of names and addresses of workers he could claim as his union members behind their backs.

Premier Daniel Andrews now needs to show whether he truly cares for workers and their families or whether he is more interested in protecting Labor and its union official allies

If Premier Andrews has any respect for workers and for honest trade unionism, he will follow the precedent he set with Minister Adem Somyurek and stand down Cesar Melhem until these allegations are resolved.
