自由党承诺新法上路，对累犯者重罚

維州自由党将对累犯严重罪行的罪犯处以强制服刑的新法规。

如明年当选，当犯罪者过去有其它严重犯罪案底，则将累犯者强制处基本监禁的刑罚。

根据自由党承诺的新法，谋杀重犯将强制处至少 20 年刑期、强姦处 15 年刑期、入室犯罪、劫车或武装抢劫则处至少 10 年有期徒刑，其它严重罪刑也有适用的相应刑罚。

Liberals promise tough new penalties for repeat offenders

The Victorian Liberal Party will make it compulsory for criminals to serve a long jail term if they commit another serious crime.

If elected next year, the Liberals will require a violent offender to serve a minimum jail term if they have previously been found guilty of another serious violent offence.

Under the changes, serious repeat offenders will be jailed for at least 20 years for murder, 15 years for rape and 10 years for home invasions, car-jackings or armed robbery. Similar strong penalties will apply for other serious crimes.

As Liberal Leader, Matthew Guy, says “A government I lead will make Victoria safe again.”
