Cesar Melhem employs union mate as electorate officer
The Labor rorts culture continues, with Victorian taxpayers now footing the bill for Cesar Melhem to employ his former union mate, Frank Leo, as an electorate officer.
Frank Leo is the union official at the centre of the Chiquita Mushrooms scandal, where the Royal Commission has heard damning evidence that he sold out low paid workers in exchange for payments to union funds.
Yet Cesar Melhem still sees nothing wrong with putting him on the public payroll.
If the Labor Party were truly a party for workers instead of a party for union bosses, Daniel Andrews would act now to cut all ties with Mr Melhem.
