Fresh rip-off allegations against union official turned Labor MP

Fresh allegations have been made today of more rip-offs by union official turned Labor MP, Cesar Melhem.

The Trade Unions Royal Commission has been told Mr Melhem got a Victorian construction company to pay the union $450 per worker for “OHS training” that was never provided, and then treated the money as membership dues.

Despite this, Premier Daniel Andrews today told journalists he hasn’t even discussed the Royal Commission allegations with Mr Melhem.

With every passing day, it becomes clearer that Mr Andrews is trying to put his head in the sand and pretend nothing has happened.  He is putting the interests of the Labor Party and dodgy union officials ahead of the interests of workers and their families.
