Box Hill remembers World War One sacrifice
Today’s Remembrance Day service in Box Hill Gardens saw the unveiling of a new plaque to commemorate all who served in World War One.
The plaque was unveiled by Ellen Martin and James Garner-Drummond, students of Box Hill High School with family connections to those who served and died in the Great War.
The plaque, a collaboration between Box Hill RSL and Whitehorse Council, was unveiled this year, the centenary of the mid-point of World War One, as part of ensuring we continue to remember and honour those who sacrificed so much for future generations.
Lest we forget.
